Craft beer has seen a resurgence in popularity in recent years, as more and more people are interested in trying new and unique flavours.

If you’re a beer drinker, then you know the satisfaction that comes from sampling a rare brew and collecting the bottle cap to commemorate the moment. But did you know that there’s a whole subculture devoted to collecting bottle caps? It’s true!

Bottlecap collectors are passionate about their hobby, and some even travel the world in search of rare and interesting caps. If you’ve been collecting bottle caps but can’t think of a nice project to do with them, maybe this custom bottle cap bar top is the perfect idea for you!

It’s a DIY project that will definitely make a great conversation piece in your house 😉

The custom countertop you see before you was made out of five years’ worth of bottle caps collected with the help of the DIY-er’s family and friends. The couple’s initial plan was to use the bottle caps to create a mosaic-like effect with the images.

However, they decided that it would be easier to create a gradient effect. The result is a stunning and unique countertop that is sure to start conversations. This is a great way to store your bottle cap collection and create something truly one-of-a-kind for your home.

They initially wanted to make clear colour transitions, but they quickly realized that they would need far more blackcaps than the other colours to achieve the desired effect. After some deliberation, they decided to go with a more subdued colour palette, which still achieved the intended goal of a clear and visually appealing colour transition.

The solution the team decided upon was to let the colours “flow” and overlap with each other. You can view the gallery below to better see how the bottle caps are laid out! 🙂 This gave the project a more organic feel and allowed for a more creative design.

The builders spent a great deal of time sorting the bottle caps and arranging them until they were satisfied with the look. It took a few tries, but in the end, they managed to create a beautiful and unique piece of art. This piece is truly one-of-a-kind, and the builders are to be commended for their hard work and dedication.

This DIY project is, indeed, time-consuming from start to finish. But the result shows that it was definitely worth the wait! The professional-looking and unique piece that will be the envy of all your friends is the perfect way to add a personal touch to your home décor.

It makes for a great conversation starter when guests come over, and it’s a fun way to show off your personality. Plus, it’s a great way to add a pop of colour to your kitchen.
