Water features add a lot of aesthetics value to the garden. Not only that, they also have a calming effect. The sound of running water induces a sense of calm. Admittedly, we could all do with some form of stress-reliever.
One particular homeowner that I know had always wanted a Zen bamboo water feature. Deer often comes into her backyard and she wanted something that would scare them away. She never got around to having one installed as she’s concerned of the cost. A ready-made bamboo fountain could set you back anywhere from $40-$60. But why buy when you can make your own?
Here’s an incredible project for a Zen bamboo water feature. It’s actually the shishi-odoshi, or the deer scarer type. It’s simple and easy to make, you can have this up and running in no time. The materials aren’t very hard to find either so this is basically a stress-free project that you must try.
