  • Potting Soil
  • Compost
  • Plants of your choice

And these tools:

  • Mattock
  • Safety Glasses
  • Auger fitted with 3/8 to 1/2″ Bit
  • Hand Trowel

Steps to convert your boring tree stumps into a beautiful planter

First, you need to hollow your street stump. You can do this by using an auger fitted with a 3/8-inch to 1/2-inch bit and a mattock. Next, you’ll need to remove the dirt from the inside of the stump. You can do this by using a hand trowel. Once the dirt has been removed, you are ready for the next step.

To ensure proper drainage and to keep water from pooling around the stump, you will want to pour 3/4 gravel on the bottom of the street stump. This will help to keep your plants from rotting.

After you pour your 3/4 gravel, you can now start adding your potting soil and compost. Make sure to evenly distribute the potting soil and compost, so that your plants will have enough room to grow. Once you’ve added the potting soil and compost, you can now start planting the plants of your choice.

When choosing the right plant for your tree stumps, there are a few key things to keep in mind. First, consider the size of the plant. Make sure it is not too big or too small for the stump. Second, think about the plant’s needs. Does it require full sun or does it prefer shade?

Third, take into account the plant’s water needs. Does it need to be regularly watered or can it tolerate dry conditions? By taking these factors into consideration, you can be sure to choose the right plant for your tree stump.

So what do you think of this tree stump planter idea? Will be transforming your bring and unsightly tree stump into one of these? Well, what are you waiting for?
