My husband was recently invited to a one-day DIY woodworking workshop for. He came home with a nice looking dice pen holder. He said they were asked to make one as part of the activity. I was pretty much impressed considering it was his first time to make one.

A few weeks later, my daughter was looking for something for teachers’ day. She saw the dice pen holder and asked her dad if he could make several. Since he had some time, he agreed. When everything was done, we personalized it with each teacher’s name. I must say those were great gifts.
The project is relatively easy, depending on your woodworking skills. As soon as you’ve cut the wood into square pieces and drilled holes into them, the work gets easier. This is a really worthwhile project. It’s nice to have something ready when you’re suddenly in need of gifts.
