Playing board games is a great way of spending quality time with the family. Not only do you get to bond with each other, but you are also able to stimulate the brain to think. These games are usually recommended for brain development and the enhancement of one’s critical thinking skills.

Our family’s favorite among all the board games is chess. We have grown to love this game because of our father who’s a really good chess player. For his 60th birthday, we decided to surprise him with an outdoor chessboard.
We saw this great DIY project on the internet and we immediately fell in love with it. The work was uncomplicated and easy – and the materials readily available, too! You can also make one. You’ll surely have lots of fun making it and then playing with it afterward.
