You’ll need these materials:
- 1″X 6″ Cedar 3′ long
- 1/2″ Wire Mesh 16″X 16″
- 3/4″ Dowel
- Carpenters Wood Glue
- Nails
- Staples
- 1 ½” Wood Screws
And these tools:
- Sander
- Circular Saw
- Jigsaw
- Wire Cutter
- Staple Gun
- Brad Nailer
- Drill
Instructions
Start by collecting all the materials we’ve already listed for you. After you have gathered all the necessary materials, you have to cut the pieces of timber to form the sides, the handle, and the frame of your vegetable hod.
It is important to make sure that the cuts are precise in order to avoid any issues when assembling the hod. Once the pieces are cut, you have to assemble the frame of the hod and make sure that it is sturdy.
Next, cover the frame of the hod with wire mesh, as shown in the picture, leaving an opening at the top. Make sure the mesh is tight against the frame so that no gaps are left open. you can use the staple wire or other means of securing the mesh to the frame.
