Having a pet can bring lots of joy. Studies show that pets help reduce stress and prevent loneliness, especially for those who live alone. Those who own pets are said to have lower blood pressure, better mood, and a good sense of well-being. But it goes both ways: you take care of your pets and your pets take care of you.

My friend has several cats. She makes sure that they are provided with activities that can help release their pent-up energy. For example, she has installed scratching posts so they don’t end up scratching furniture. The latest addition is a cat rope bridge that her boyfriend made.
The cats love their rope bridge! They’re on it most of the time, perched high, as if they’re overseeing the activities of the household. It’s a really nice project if you have pets. You’d need some woodworking skills but the results are totally worth it.
