With just a little resourcefulness and creativity, you can make some pretty accessories for you and your daughter. This bracelet is made out of soda pop tabs and a red ribbon – a very easy DIY project!
Materials:
- Soda pop tabs
- Ribbon (color of your choice)
- Nail polish (color of your choice, to be used as paint for the tabs)
- Clear nail polish
- 2 small safety pins
Steps:
Paint the soda pop tabs with nail polish of your choice.
Coat them with clear nail polish.
Attach the safety pins on both ends of the ribbon. This will make it easier for you to insert the ribbon through the holes.
Insert the ribbon through the holes, slide the tab but leave about 1-1/2 inches on the ribbon.
Lift the ribbon, and position the next tab on top of the first.
Insert the ribbon through the hole where the first and second tab intersect, then back up through the holes of the second tab.
Place the third tab and insert the ribbon again where they intersect. Repeat the steps until you have the desired length for your bracelet.
