We love get-togethers. It doesn’t matter whether they’re planned or spontaneous, we just love to be with family and friends. Before we moved to another city, a picnic park was just a couple of blocks away from home. The place was a sanctuary of greenery in the middle of a busy city. During sunny days, you’d see us there.

Since we moved to a new city, we couldn’t find a nearby park. However, our new home came with a large backyard, some trees, and bushes. It was a picnic area waiting to happen, so to speak. After long hours of trimming, cutting, and pruning, my husband set out to work on seating areas.

This particular project caught our attention. It’s for an octagon picnic table that’s just perfect for what we needed. It has a unique shape – not merely functional but aesthetically beautiful as well. If you’re planning on making this, you’d need wood working skills. But the plans are pretty easy to follow. You’d have your very own octagon picnic table in no time.
