How to transform your old furniture into a Lego table?

For sure, everyone is excited about how to transform their old table into a Lego table so let’s get started. The process of transforming an old table into a Lego table is both simple and rewarding. With just a few supplies and some basic tools, you can create a fun and functional Lego table that the whole family will enjoy. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Begin by sanding down the surface of your old table.
    • Start by sanding down the surface of your old table. This will help to create a smooth surface for the Lego tiles to adhere to. If your table is particularly rough, you may want to start with coarser sandpaper and then move on to a finer one. Once you’ve sanded the surface, wipe it down with a damp cloth to remove any dust.
  2. Once you have sanded your table, it is important to apply a sealant in order to protect the wood.
    • Once the sealant is dry, you can then choose to coat your table with a clear finish or paint. This will help to further protect your table and keep it looking its best for years to come.
  3. After your paint or finish has dried, it’s time to apply a layer of adhesive to the table surface.
    • You can use a standard tile adhesive or a specialized Lego adhesive. If you’re using a tile adhesive, simply apply it to the table surface according to the manufacturer’s instructions. If you’re using a specialized Lego adhesive, apply it to the table surface in a thin layer, making sure to evenly cover the entire surface you want your Lego plates to attach. Once the adhesive has been applied, you can begin attaching your Lego plates to the table.
  4. Finally, you can attach the storage basket to your lego table.
    • Finally, you can attach the storage basket to your lego table, allowing your child to easily access their legos while they play. This is a great way to keep the legos organized and tidy, and it also makes it easy for your child to clean up when they’re finished playing.
