For instance, you can use this huge roll of paper any way you want – a memo board, from grocery lists to everyday to-do reminders! I get excited each time the kids and I are going to review their lessons. However, I have to admit that there are days when teaching them becomes difficult.
Some days, they need a more comprehensive lecture on certain topics. We use sheets and sheets of paper – especially in Math and Physics – because it takes a lot of practice and repetitive discussion.
I came home one time with what seemed like a huge roll of paper hung on the wall. It was a random gift from my husband because he said he wanted to make review sessions easier for me. I enjoy teaching the kids using them because they understand things better.
In addition to tracking our daily to-do list, we also use it to list down our grocery items. It’s really useful – my husband even put one in his office. This way, we can easily keep track of everything we need to buy and avoid forgetting important items.

Materials:
- 1 pc. 28″ Wide Roll of Craft Paper
- 2 pcs 3/4×36″ Metal Strap
- 1 pc 1/2 inch black steel pipe
- 2 pcs 1/2 inch metal caps for your plumbing pipe
- 2 pcs Curtain Rod Holders to mount your paper roll
- 1 pc 1x6x33 inch piece of wood for your holder base
- Screws to mount your holder and the metal straps to the wall
- Flat Black Spray paint

Before beginning this project, be sure to gather all the necessary materials. This will save you time and effort by avoiding having to make multiple trips to your local thrift store. By having all of the required materials on hand before starting, you can focus your energy on completing the project in a timely and efficient manner.
Next, prepare a piece of wood for the holder base of your memo board. To do this, sand the wood down until it is smooth, then apply a layer of primer. Once the primer is dry, attach the curtain rod holder to both ends of the wood using screws. Make sure the curtain rod holders are level.
To secure your craft paper roll, start by screwing one of your caps into the black steel pipe. Then, slide the pipe through the hole in the paper roll and screw the other cap onto the other end of the pipe. This will keep your paper roll in place and prevent it from coming off.
You can now then install the base into the wall using screws. Once the base is mounted on the wall, you can already mount the metal straps. One should be right below the base and the other should depend on how long you want your memo would look.
