Multiple roll tape dispenser – a great way to organize your workshop

DIY multiple roll tape dispenser

It may not look like much, but a multi-roll tape dispenser can be a big help if you want to work faster and more efficiently. With multiple rolls of tape at your disposal, you can quickly and easily grab the roll you need without having to stop and search for it. This can save you valuable time in the workshop, and help you get your projects done more quickly and easily.

When you’re in the middle of a project, the last thing you want is to waste time rummaging through drawers looking for a roll of tape or a pair of scissors. Small factors like this can have a big impact on your workflow and productivity. By keeping your workspace organized and tidy, you can help ensure that you’re able to stay focused and work as efficiently as possible.

A multi-roll tape dispenser is a great investment for anyone who frequently uses tape. It saves you time by keeping all of your rolls of tape in one place and makes it easy to find the specific type of tape you need. Additionally, it is much faster to cut the tape from a dispenser than to search for a loose roll. This is especially convenient when you need to complete a project quickly.

You can make your own multiple-roll tape dispenser with some simple materials. With just a few timber offcuts, excess PVC pipe, or any other kind of rod, you can create a functional and helpful tool for your workshop. This dispenser can help improve your workflow by keeping multiple rolls of tape at the ready. Plus, it’s a fun project to put together and can be customized to match your workshop’s style.

Making your own multiple roll tape dispenser

Before making your own multiple-roll tape dispenser, it is important to have a clear vision for the final product. Consider the size, shape, and weight of the dispenser, as well as the number of rolls of tape you want to be able to store.

Keep in mind that the weight of the dispenser will increase with each additional roll of tape, so be sure to factor that into your design. Once you have a clear idea of what you want your dispenser to look like, you can begin gathering the necessary materials.

The tape dispenser design that we will be doing in this tutorial is the simplest multiple-roll tape dispenser design. First, we need to create a wooden box using 3/4-inch timber or plywood. Make sure that the dimensions of the wooden box that you will be creating can accommodate the length of the dowel.

Once you have the box created, take your dowel and cut it to the desired length. The next step is to create a hole in the center of both sides of the box, large enough to fit the dowel through snugly. The dowel will serve as the tape holder.

In order to attach the hacksaw blade to your box, first, make sure that the teeth are facing outwards. This will ensure that the blade will cut through the material you are trying to cut. Once you have done that, you can proceed to attach the blade to one side of the box using wood screws. Make sure that the screws are tightened properly so that the blade does not come loose while you are using it.

You can sand it and paint it if you like. Would you be able to give this multiple-roll tape dispenser a try?
